Is this solid wood or veneer?Solid. Our pieces are cut from full-thickness oak or walnut, so the grain runs all the way through.

Will the wood I receive look exactly like the photo?Close, but not identical. Grain and colour vary from board to board — that variation is the point of real timber, not a defect.

Oak or walnut — which should I pick?Oak is lighter and more golden, and suits pale desks and bright rooms. Walnut is darker and browner, and hides marks better. Both harden and mellow over time.

Will a stand fit my laptop / monitor?Each product page lists the dimensions and weight limit. If your device is unusual, send us the model and we’ll check.

Do you do custom sizes or engraving?Often, yes. Tell us the dimensions and what it’s for and we’ll quote you.

What payment methods do you accept?All major credit and debit cards through our secure checkout. Card details never touch our servers.

Can I change or cancel my order?Email us as soon as possible. If it hasn’t been packed yet we can usually amend it; once it ships it becomes a return.

I didn’t get a confirmation email.Check your spam folder first. If it’s not there, contact us with the name and email you used and we’ll find the order.

How long will delivery take?Roughly 5–10 business days in the US, 7–14 in the UK and Europe, and 10–20 elsewhere, after 1–3 days of packing. Full detail is on the Shipping & Returns page.

Do you ship to my country?We ship worldwide. If your country doesn’t appear at checkout, write to us and we’ll look into it.

Will I pay customs or import duty?Possibly, depending on where you are. Duties are set by your government, aren’t included in our prices, and are the buyer’s responsibility.

My tracking hasn’t moved.Tracking often takes 24–48 hours to start updating, and can pause for several days in transit or at customs. If there’s no movement for over a week, tell us and we’ll chase it.

What’s your returns window?30 days from delivery for unused items in original condition.

Who pays return postage?You do for change-of-mind returns; we do if the item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing.

My item arrived damaged.Tell us within 7 days with photos of the item and the outer box. We’ll replace it or refund you in full.

How do I clean it?A soft, slightly damp cloth along the grain. No sprays, bleach or alcohol wipes.

How often should I re-oil?Every 6–12 months for pieces you handle daily, less for shelves and stands. The Wood Care Guide walks through it step by step.

It’s darker than when it arrived — is that normal?Yes. Walnut warms and oak lightens over the first year or two. It’s permanent, and most people prefer it.
